Birthday & Halloween

Well Lily bug turned 1 year old on Friday, October 23rd. It is really hard to believe. This year has gone faster than I ever could have imagined. We had a party for her at my Mom & Dad's on the 25th. It was a lot of fun. She really loved the cake eating part. Everyone bought her clothes (as I requested). She got so many cute things, even Kara thought so. :)

Lily and Brielle got in the tub after the cake eating was over. I'm not sure why....hmmm.

Before the Birthday party started Lily and Brielle played in the leaves. Brielle liked it more than Lily. Brandon actually buried Brielle completely and she just laid there. We just kept laughing at her.

Lily was a super scary witch for Halloween. It's technically her second Halloween, but last year she couldn't go out so we didn't dress her up. My Aunt Denise made the skirt and the cape for her. It looked so cute. We couldn't believe that she kept the hat on, but she did.

This picture is so you can see her stockings and broom. You can't really tell, but the black thing on her broom is a little black cat. Halloween was a lot of fun.

Two steps forward...

Lily is officially a walker. She has actually been walking for over a month now. Nate says that next week we're starting her on long division. She will turn 1 year old next Friday and I just can't believe it. This year has been the fastest and best of my life. Nate and I don't know how we ever lived without her.

The Boss

We welcomed a new addition to our family today. Boston Richard Gadd was born at about 3:35 pm today, September 16th. He is super cute and just check out all of that hair. It is unreal. Linzee did awesome and is feeling good. Brandon is a proud papa and Brielle thinks he's "oh cute." Brielle actually liked the Oreo cookies a little better than Boston, but I'm sure she'll warm up to him. Congrats to Brandon and Linzee. My parents are of course thrilled. We all LOVE the little guy already.

July has been busy!

I haven't updated my blog for a while because July has been a pretty busy month. We spent the 4th down in Nephi with my family. Jesse came with us and we had a BBQ at my Aunt Debbie's. It was a lot of fun. Lily and I spent the following Thursday and Friday with my Mom and Dad because it was the Ute Stampede (Nephi's Summer Celebration). Nate and Jess came down on Saturday and we went to the Car Show. I'm posting a bunch of pictures that I took. The first couple are from the 4th and the rest are from the weekend of the Stampede.

So I took Lily to get some portraits taken at Kiddie Kandids today. I think they turned out super cute. It took a minute for her to warm up to the photographer but towards the end she was pretty smiley. Luckily my mom was with me and kept Lily happy. Here are a few of my favorites.

One Great Dad!

This year was Nate's first Father's Day as a Dad. He is so wonderful with Lily, he is a real hands on dad. I am so happy that he loves her as much as she loves him. Every day when he gets home she is so excited to see him. He is such a natural at being a father. It took me a while to ease in to parenting but he knew what to do right from the start. I love Nate more every time I see him with her. We spent the day with my family. I can't believe I did't get any pictures at the BBQ. I love all of the men in my life, they are great fathers & grandfathers.

Mobile at last...sort of.

Lily has started crawling. Not the full blown crawl, more of an Army crawl, perhaps in honor of her Uncle Joe. We are excited and a little apprehensive. I think it will make her happy, but I doubt the dogs will be happy about it. Punkin will be in hiding all day and Neo will spend most of the time out on the patio.

Water Lily

Lily and Brielle have discovered the hot tub at Grandma & Grandpa's house and they love it. Brielle just points when she passes it. Every time we ask if she wants to get out she says "no." I can't believe how much Lily kicks her arms and feet when my dad is swimming her around. They are both going to be little water babies this summer. My mom bought Lily Bug her brown and blue bikini to match her eyes. She is such a babe in it.

Just the 3 of us

I tended Brielle yesterday. We had lots of fun. I basically just carried Lily and followed Brielle around the house. She loves the stairs. I can't imagine having babies as close as some of my family members have and are having. Brielle is an angel, but juggling the two of them was entertaining. They are fun to carry up and down the stairs at the same time. Lily loves Brielle, she smiles and laughs at her a lot. Brielle can say Lily now and was super cute giving Lily her toys.

1st Tooth

Lily got her first tooth today, May 18th. I've been expecting it for a while. She had kind of a hard day, but we put baby orajel on her tooth and it seemed to help a little. She keeps sticking her tongue out because she's feeling her tooth. It's super cute.

I'm a Mom!

It was crazy to actually be a mother on Mother's Day. We had a lot of fun. We went to my mom's and had a BBQ. We also took some family photos. Here are a few.

Birthday Bash

I can't believe it but Brielle is 1 year old. Soooo crazy! We went to her B-day party at my Mom & Dad's on Friday night. We had a lot of fun. The girlo's wore their party hats and thought they were pretty big stuff. I thought Lily wouldn't like it but she smiled the entire time she had it on. These pictures would be perfect if only Ella Bella would have been there.
